More than the award itself, I’m interested in the methodology behind it: correlation is not causation. Only by actively intervening and changing one variable can we prove what the true cause is. This is exactly what AI explainability and the crypto world are missing most today.

The biggest bottleneck in science has never been a lack of brilliant people, but the fact that money and trust are monopolized by a handful of institutions. That’s the problem DeSci (decentralized science) aims to solve: making research findings, data, and funding freely accessible and transferable through tokenization, with contributors sharing in the proceeds.
