$BTC #美伊之战又有多少人在水生火热中

There are tangible signs that risks to Red Sea shipping are easing, a short-term neutral-to-bullish signal for BTC, though claims of gains remain disputed.

Yemen’s Ministry of Defense said Saudi-backed government forces had recaptured Mokha port and most areas along the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. Reuters, citing four government sources, reported that Houthi forces were retreating inland. However, Reuters has not independently verified the claims, and the Houthis have also denied them. The Reuters report was published at 17:15 Beijing time on October 5. This latest update added the claim that government forces had recaptured Mokha, but the page did not show the exact update time.

If government forces have indeed regained control of this key shipping route, it could reduce the risk of Red Sea shipping disruptions and higher oil prices, easing inflation and U.S. Treasury yield pressures and supporting BTC. However, the Houthis can still launch drone or missile attacks from inland areas, so shipping cannot yet be considered fully restored. BTC is currently around $85,480, with no clear reaction to the news.

Watch next: whether independent footage or shipping organizations can confirm who controls the area, whether the Houthis retaliate, whether Brent crude falls below $100, and whether BTC can regain and hold above $86,000.
