Bitcoin ETF pulls in $6.34 billion in Q3—funds are back!

US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded about $6.34 billion in net inflows in the third quarter, the strongest quarter since 2026.

By comparison, in Q2 they saw net outflows of about $5 billion, with a clear shift in fund sentiment.

Breaking it down is even more intuitive: in July there was an inflow of just $172 million; in August it quickly rose to $3.52 billion; and in September inflows remained at $2.65 billion.

Over the same period, Bitcoin rose 42.71%, also marking the best-performing third quarter since 2017.

However, ETF inflows didn’t accelerate in a straight line. September inflows were about 25% lower than August, and on September 30 there was a net outflow of $148.7 million.

After entering October, funds turned positive again, with an inflow of $102.7 million on October 1.

Overall, Wall Street demand for BTC has clearly rebounded, but in the short term, capital flows are likely to swing back and forth.
