Nasdaq and BTC—today’s correlation has something going on

There’s no new narrative in U.S. stocks today—only the day’s gains and losses.

For technical levels, use today’s high and low; don’t force-fit old support/resistance.

Crude oil 90.98 (5-day -1.55%, Yahoo)
U.S. Dollar Index 101.22 (5-day +0.25%)

BTC 24h high 85650 / low 82900, current price 84422. The 10Y U.S. Treasury yield is 5.25%, up another +1.72% over 5 days. The long-end is draining liquidity, so valuation stories for growth stocks and BTC have to step aside.

ETH is -0.62% over 24h, weaker than BTC’s +0.51%, FX rate 0.03205. Funds are shrinking into BTC; watch before acting on altcoins on the right-hand side.

VIX is now 15.85. If it breaks above 18, I’ll cut the futures position in half—I won’t argue with the U.S. stock closing prices.

My position: only do pullback trades, not breakout chase orders. If the structure hasn’t broken, keep the core position; adding should wait for the pullback setup.

Side note: out there, people are discussing “"bitcoin OR stock market OR 美股" - Google News”. I’m using it only as background; the conclusion still relies on the numbers in the main text.

My personal view—numbers are from the sources in the main text. Not trading instructions.
