First, look at these signals in the U.S. stock market
First read off the numbers for the U.S. stock market, and then decide whether to follow into the crypto market.
Today I’m not guessing price levels—just looking at numbers that have already played out.
Crude oil 90.38 (5-day -2.20%, Yahoo)
Dow Jones 51,350 (5-day -0.99%, Yahoo)
Transmission: the 10-year U.S. Treasury yield is 5.25%, and it rose another +2.76% over the past 5 days. The long end is pulling out liquidity—growth stock and BTC valuation narratives have to make way.
BTC 83,756, 24h spot volume 1.07 billion USD. ETH/BTC 0.03212. ETH 24h -0.97%, underperforming BTC -0.26%, with the exchange rate 0.03212. Funds are shrinking back into BTC; altcoins—wait on the sidelines for now on the right side of the move.
Forward look: VIX is now 16.09. If it breaks above 18, I’ll cut my derivatives position in half—I won’t argue with the U.S. stock market’s closing prices.
My position: staying on the sidelines. Price hasn’t chosen a direction, and leverage hasn’t been paid for. Opening a position now is basically working for the exchange.
Data: Binance spot 24h / Binance U-margined / Yahoo daily (5-day gain/loss). Missing numbers don’t get filled in.
Are you currently in cash waiting for a pullback, or are you already on board?

Personal view: the numbers come from the sources in the main text. Not an order to trade.
