4,30% spread. 13,97% premium. Two numbers that today tell very different stories in Venezuelan P2P. 👀

Today, Sunday, September 27, on Binance the $USDT is bought for Bs. 976,71 and sold for Bs. 936,48. That leaves a spread of Bs. 40,23. And with the BCV marking Bs. 857,01, the P2P premium rises to 13,97%.

But here’s the detail that almost nobody checks: inside Binance, the purchase price (Bs. 968,46) and the selling price (Bs. 965,28) are less than 1% apart. So why does the market feel so expensive? Because the ad IS NOT the transaction.

With 257 active offers, the most common mistake is picking the first one that appears on the list. That offer usually has high minimum limits, payment methods you don’t use, or an endless release time. Result: you end up taking the fifth or sixth offer, at a different price than the one you saw when you entered.

This week’s reports talk about liquidity fragmentation and gaps that vary a lot depending on the payment method and the bank. This confirms something simple: in Venezuela there isn’t "one" USDT price—there’s a price ladder. Your job isn’t to find the tip of the ladder; it’s to know which rung you can stand on without slipping.

📌 Checklist before hitting "Buy":

1. Check the actual available amount, not just the ad price.

2. Confirm the payment method and that your bank is listed by the merchant.

3. Look at the completion rate and the average release time.

4. Calculate your effective price: bolívares you pay ÷ USDT you receive.

5. Start with small amounts while you test a new merchant.

P2P rewards the person who stops for 30 seconds to read. Don’t chase the perfect offer: chase the transaction you can close without friction, with a receipt and with backup.
