According to Specter Investigation monitoring, the privacy stablecoin payment network Payy Network is suspected to have been attacked, with around 1.8 million USDC reportedly transferred out. The attacker previously obtained the initial funds via the privacy protocol Railgun, then converted the stolen USDC into ETH and distributed the funds across three addresses. Payy Network is a privacy-focused ZK Rollup built on Ethereum, mainly targeting stablecoin payments. It has previously raised about $8 million in funding, with investors including FirstMark Capital, Robot Ventures, and DBA Crypto. As of the publicly available information, Payy has not yet officially confirmed the incident, and the specific cause of the attack and the final losses still need further verification.
