Bitcoin hit 87K… but the real question isn’t: where is it going? 👀
Bitcoin rose from around the 76K area to over 87K dollars within days, then started trading around the 86K zone.

What’s interesting is that the rally wasn’t driven by a single factor.
An important part came from the liquidation of short positions, and this kind of forced buying can accelerate the move significantly.
But on the other hand, U.S. spot Bitcoin funds recorded net inflows of about $999 million on September 21st—one of the largest daily inflows in the recent period.

Here’s my take:
I won’t consider Bitcoin’s rise strong just because the shorts got wiped out.
The real test now is:
Will money keep flowing in after the liquidation wave ends?
If inflows continue and the price starts to hold above the current levels, then this is a different story than just a Short Squeeze.
But if inflows disappear and leverage starts turning against buyers, then we need to pay closer attention.
Your question:
Do you think Bitcoin has started a new uptrend wave, or is the market still living with the effects of the Short Squeeze?
