Has the AI party gone too far already?
I’m cautious/pessimistic in the short term about pure AI equities. Nvidia saying it will double sales and the record spending in computing are facts, but the entire market has already priced that in. When everyone is optimistic, the risk of a short-term pullback increases.
On the other hand, the debate about slowing down AI versus Trump’s "AI Force" shows that regulation and government support will be decisive. If AI is to represent 25% of GDP, the long-term upside may not be in NVDA
which has already risen 300%, but in other sectors that benefit from AI: productivity, healthcare, logistics, and energy.
That’s why I reduced my exposure to pure AI stocks and I’m looking for these second-order effects. I share my current trade in the widget below. What opportunity do you see outside the obvious?
