Binance announces the migration of assets from Funding accounts to Spot accounts starting September 29, and the Funding account will be renamed to Stocks Account to be used only for settling equities and options. My take: this is the strongest signal to date that Binance is structuring its interface for the era of tokenized stocks, with traditional trading taking a back seat. On-chain deposits will go through Spot, and a one-click migration will be offered before the January 2027 automatic batch.
