Aave V4 deposits have broken 1 billion—doubling in a month.
But when I looked at the active loans, it’s only 300 million. The money really is coming in, but the amount lent out hasn’t kept up—most of the funds are sitting in the pool, collecting dust.
The data is definitely a positive signal, but to turn it into a market-side driving force, we’ll need to see whether borrowing demand can pick up afterward.
