On August 24, she published a long post saying she would rather take zero yuan than sign that settlement agreement that asked her to keep her mouth shut forever, as well as all the evidence of disputes during her employment that was originally set to be made public on August 26.
However, by the evening of the 24th, she was found dead near a highway ramp. She was only 37 years old.
So this is definitely murder, right?
