The Nasdaq closed at 27244, setting a new intraday closing record again.

In the same day, Amazon fell 1.34%, Google fell 1.07%, Microsoft fell 0.72%, and Meta also pulled back. What really pushed the index higher was memory—Micron rose 5%, and the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index gained 2.06%.

I don’t think this is a broadly risk-on environment opening up; it looks more like money is funneling into specific areas like compute power and storage. A new high for the index doesn’t necessarily mean the “Magnificent Seven” are all flying together.

On the crypto side, I’m not going to chase this rhythm either. On Binance, ETH is currently around 2732, down slightly by about 0.6% over the past 24 hours, and it hasn’t caught the kind of structural行情 that US stocks saw. I plan to stay in cash and watch how tonight’s US market open plays out—whether the storage theme can continue—and then decide whether to touch risk assets.
