Cathie Wood's ARK Invest sharply increased its Rocket Lab stake while trimming Alphabet in its latest trades disclosed on September 22. According to Sina Finance, ARK also continued adjusting its biotech holdings, with both additions and reductions across the sector.
The largest trade of the day was Rocket Lab. ARK bought a combined 359,612 shares through the ARK Innovation ETF, ARK Autonomous Technology & Robotics ETF, and ARK Space Exploration & Innovation ETF for about $25.13 million. Rocket Lab provides rocket launch, satellite, and other space systems services.
ARK also reduced its Alphabet position. According to Sina Finance, the firm sold a combined 16,422 shares through the ARKQ and ARKX ETFs for about $5.829 million.
In biotech, ARK Genomic Revolution ETF sold 21,335 shares of Twist Bioscience for about $3.538 million and 49,651 shares of 10x Genomics for about $3.927 million. At the same time, ARKG bought 88,323 shares of Scribe Therapeutics for about $2.477 million, while ARK also bought 12,583 shares of Veracyte for about $522,000 and 9,519 shares of Beam Therapeutics for about $240,000.
ARK Next Generation Internet ETF also sold 19,139 shares of Everpure for about $2.175 million. According to Sina Finance, the day's trading was centered on larger Rocket Lab buying, Alphabet selling, and structural repositioning within biotech.
