Stop Loss vs Buyback (DCA) which is more infallible?
"I place the SL and the coin goes toward my activation price and then keeps rising, I lost money and missed out on a possible gain"
"I do buy-backs (DCA) and the coin doesn’t stop going against me, burn the account because of the coin".
No, you’re just operating incorrectly.
Let me explain.
There are people who think that setting an SL makes you "lose more money" because, for example, the coin supposedly $ZEC touches the SL and in the end it keeps rising, or people who buy back until the end on a short with $MUBARAK when the coin keeps aggressively rising. So both manage risk but in completely different ways.
