Set a goal first: make 1 million (100W).
Even though this amount of money would probably disappear in a 4th/5th-tier city for a house, we still have to take it one step at a time—the goal needs to be realistic.
Since I entered the market, I feel like I’ve lost the equivalent of 50-plus (times). The good news is I bought a small car for getting around, and it also lets me subsidize my family, so I’m not completely useless 🥺.
I算了下: my current principal is 38695 U ≈ 257,321.75 CNY. Let’s just treat it as 250k RMB for now; it’s still 4x away from the goal. I don’t have more than 20k RMB in debt, so I won’t count that for the moment. For the next few months, I plan to use my salary for DCA into spot and won’t withdraw. I’ll live off the CMB (China Merchants Bank) Lightning Loan for now. Because it feels like a bull market is coming, I think I should be a bit bolder.
I plan to keep 5000 U to mess around with perps/contracts. Recently I wrote a market-making bot for #StandX Market Maker, and I plan to add another 5000 U to play with it (feels like the odds are pretty good).
My principal is really tight—I don’t have much room left…
