9.21 Evening Gold Market Analysis
During the day, the gold price has been oscillating back and forth within a range, with bulls and bears repeatedly vying. In the evening, the market setup still mainly hinges on whether the price breaks out of the range. There are fewer fundamental news catalysts, and the volatility is driven more by capital flows.
Technically, after price faced resistance and became capped at higher levels, the bullish momentum gradually weakened. The overhead resistance lies at 4380–4400, and the support is around 4335.
- If the rebound reaches the 4380 area and meets resistance, you may test a long position with a small size, keep the stop-loss at 4402, and look for 4350; if it breaks down, watch for 4335.
- If the pullback stabilizes around 4335, you can try to trade a short-term long, with a stop-loss at 4320, and target 4360–4375.
Evening trading approach: focus on the range; if there is a breakout, trade in the breakout direction. Don’t chase rallies or panic-sell. Wait patiently for the price to reach key levels before entering, and make sure every trade has a proper stop-loss.
