Everyone was shouting about $ETH back in the last bull market, hoping it would rise to 10000.

But this time around, nobody seems willing to hold it.

$ETH has already broken through $2700 again, rebounding more than 12% from the recent low point around $2400.

In the previous bull market, the market had very high expectations for ETH, but the price ultimately failed to break above $5000. This time, many people’s attention has shifted to BTC, SOL, and newly issued tokens—$ETH is no longer the most discussed target.

However, ETH is still the foundational asset for Ethereum DeFi, stablecoins, and tokenized assets. On-chain applications that run on Ethereum require ETH to pay Gas; the base fees in network fees are burned.

For now, I’m not in a rush to set an endpoint for this ETH rally at $2800 or $3000.

If ETH can continue to outperform BTC and once again breaks above the previous cycle’s high, this bull market could have a chance to set new all-time highs.
