Genius.fun announced these past two days that, going forward, the contract addresses of all newly issued tokens posted on the platform will have the same ending, "6666". Co-founder Ryan Myher said they’re doing this because the community wants Genius.fun and the Genius Terminal behind it to be more easily recognized. This "contract suffix as a brand tag" game isn’t a new invention—on Solana, pump.fun has already done something like it. By using addresses that end with "pump," users can tell at a glance whether the coin came from their own platform. Genius Terminal behind it was funded by YZi Labs, with CZ serving as an advisor; this time they’ve essentially taken the playbook Solana meme platforms have used and brought it to BNB Chain.

One reminder: the address suffix is fundamentally a vanity address generated by compute power "hunting" for it. In theory, anyone with enough compute can generate the same kind of ending to impersonate the token—this isn’t a cryptographic, platform-bound anti-counterfeit mechanism.
