The Plasma coin price rose 18% in line with reports about a major token unlock scheduled for September 25, 2026; nearly 1.89 billion units of XPL (equivalent to 18.9% of the total supply) will be issued, with a value of about $150 million. This will be done by combining releases of tokens allocated to the team and investors (under the “Cliff Unlock” system) along with the first monthly payments within a gradual vesting plan.
