Bitcoin $BTC recovers a lost structure in 2025 amid geopolitical easing.

The cancellation of U.S. attacks against the Houthis eased the market and accelerated a technical improvement that bitcoin had already been building.

Bitcoin closed above the 50-week moving average for the first time since October 2025.
Net buy volume on Binance jumped from USD 11 to 618 million in an hour.

Bitcoin $BTC begins the week above $84,000, after having touched $75,000 just a few days earlier. The recovery had already brought the price back above $80,000 on Friday, despite a week marked by higher interest rates from the U.S. Federal Reserve and the Bank of Japan and the legislative setback of CLARITY. But during the weekend, an additional catalyst appeared, ultimately accelerating the move.
That advance allowed bitcoin to move closer again to a technical reference it had lost during much of the correction: the 50-week exponential moving average (EMA50), currently around $77,800. The indicator is calculated from the weekly closes of that period, but it assigns more weight to the most recent weeks than to the older ones, so it lets you track the underlying direction of the price without being as conditioned by daily fluctuations.
