Solana (Solana) network reduces block production time
Technical update (SIMD-0525):
The "Anza" development team has announced the activation of the third phase of Solana network’s structural update. Current result: the block production time (Blocktime) has been reduced from 300 to 250 milliseconds. This means the network is now producing 4 blocks per second instead of 3.3. Although this increases the processing speed of operations, experts explained that the amount of data inside each block has been reduced by the same percentage, and therefore the network’s maximum overall throughput capacity has not changed yet.
