Bitmine announced the purchase of an additional 28,086 ETH worth $69.5 million, to reach 97% of its goal of owning 5% of the total Ethereum supply. The company’s current holdings are 5.93 million ether, with 5.1 million of those tokens invested in staking to generate estimated annual returns of $330 million. Despite the company’s total assets reaching $15.7 billion, it is reporting unrealized losses of $5.1 billion on its holdings, with Ethereum trading near $2,469.
