#美参议院否决clarity法案
👉 法案倒下,机构没停
The bill fell in the Senate, but the institution’s actions didn’t stop ⚖️
This week, Grayscale added XRP to a new institutional portfolio with a 26.11% weight, ranking it second. The first is Ethereum at 42.34%. Their claim is that U.S. crypto policy is still maturing, and a failed vote doesn’t change course.
Ripple’s CEO also weighed in. He believes the SEC and CFTC will take on more regulatory responsibilities, and XRP’s legal status hasn’t changed.
Institutional logic is different from the market. The market is focused on this vote, while institutions focus on the rule framework for the next few years. The former is an event, the latter is a trend. Looking at both time horizons together prevents them from conflicting.
The vote count also leaves room. 49 to 50—one vote short—so the disagreement is pushed into detailed provisions rather than direction.
For crypto, legislation is about trading uncertainty for a timeline. If the timeline is delayed, the price gets discounted, but the underlying logic isn’t overturned.
Do you think this bill can come back next year? Let’s discuss in the comments.
