Big news|#RKLB On September 15, it was officially announced: the funds for Iridium’s acquisition deal have been fully secured ✅

Rocket Lab has completed the $1.944 billion ATM equity issuance. Together with its own available liquidity, the cash consideration for the acquisition of Iridium has been fully prepared.

A few key points:

༒ Complete a $1.944 billion ATM equity placement, issuing 29.3 million shares; proceeds will be used to acquire Iridium.

༒ Finalize the amendments to Iridium’s existing $1.775 billion credit agreement and obtain approval for a change-of-control.

༒ Terminate the original $3.6 billion bridge loan and remove acquisition capital-structure risk.

༒ The acquisition is expected to be completed in mid-2027, pending regulatory approvals.

This is a very critical milestone on the acquisition road.

Once the merger is completed, Rocket Lab will directly take over Iridium’s massive LEO satellite constellation, ground network, and communications customers—upgrading from a pure launch provider to a full space communications services provider.

Near-term equity dilution will bring volatility, but in the long run it’s a major move to build space infrastructure.

Yesterday the price dipped as low as around 61.8 yuan, not far from the previous cycle’s low of 57.1 yuan. It then rebounded to 65.7 yuan. It’s expected that the stock price will continue to see some fluctuations in the future, but the upside potential is large enough that you may consider building a position in batches on dips.
