The price hasn’t budged while the position is being built up one bar at a time. The spot buy orders have piled up to more than twice the amount of the sell orders—this kind of order book is something I’m very familiar with. On the surface everything looks calm and steady, but underneath the money is quietly changing hands. The proportion of longs in the big accounts is still rising, and the lows haven’t been broken through. The shorts are standing where they are now, basically waiting for the particular K-line that’s going to sweep them away.
