When I saw the news about the “on-chain anomaly in 2017,” my first reaction wasn’t to try to guess the bottom. I thought about the day I made my weekly DCA withdrawal last week. Around 78k—after I bought, I closed the app. Honestly, I was a bit suspicious of myself, like I was catching falling knives.

Looking back now, the price didn’t really move much, but my position was a bit heavier. The on-chain data says the bottom might be slowly accumulating, yet the market didn’t have any sense of excitement at all. That, rather, made me feel reassured.

In my tenth year of DCA, I’ve long stopped chasing the absolute lowest point. I just need to make sure that when others aren’t willing to make a move, I’m still buying according to plan. When the real market comes, nobody will care about today’s 78k.
