1200U to 50000U: 3 “stupid” ways I used to make a comeback in my followers’ trading account
Last month, a follower asked me: their account only had 2800U left—could they still turn things around?
I didn’t talk to them about any complicated technical indicators. I just taught them 3 simple, “dumb” methods. Three months later, their account reached 68,000U, and they never blew up a position once throughout the whole process.
There’s really no secret—there’s just less room for mistakes.
First method: split your money into three parts, never mix or move them
Split 2800U into four lots of 700U. One lot is for short-term trades—no more than two entries per day; take profit when it’s good. One lot is for catching trends—wait until the weekly chart is clear, and don’t exhaust yourself trading chop. The last lot is reserved as backup—if a liquidation happens that day, replenish to preserve your ability to keep trading.
Never go all-in. If your principal is gone, you’ll have zero chance to turn things around.
Second method: only make money from trends
Choppy, range-bound conditions have too many variables—so don’t touch them. If the daily moving averages haven’t formed a bullish alignment, then stay in cash and wait. Only enter after price breaks the previous high on strong volume, and the daily close confirms the trend.
Once you’ve earned 30% of your principal, withdraw half to lock in gains. For the remaining profit, set a 10% trailing take-profit—don’t be greedy or chase perfection.
Third method: don’t let emotions drive your decisions
Before entering a trade, set the rules in stone: if losses reach 3%, exit automatically—no hesitation, no “holding it out.” If you reach 10% profit, immediately move the stop-loss up to your entry price to protect your base position’s profit.
Every day at exactly 23:00, shut down your computer. Don’t stare at charts, no matter how tempting they look. If you can’t sleep, uninstall the trading app right away—don’t give emotions a chance to interfere.
Plainly speaking, in the crypto market, you make money only if you stay in the market. Execute these 3 points first, then learn those complicated things later.
