🚀 DOGE is officially integrated into the Solana ecosystem! Good news is here, but why didn’t the coin price jump?
Dogecoin receives an important ecosystem update ✨ With the Sunrise cross-chain protocol, starting from September 7, DOGE is officially connected to the Solana ecosystem.
Sunrise relies on the Wormhole infrastructure. It is a cross-chain liquidity gateway that can standardize and import assets from other chains into Solana, while also统一铸造 (minting) assets to prevent multiple versions of tokens and avoid liquidity being fragmented.
💡 What changes does this integration bring?
Previously, the Dogecoin native chain mainly focused on payments, with very limited DeFi options. Now users don’t need to manually and tediously bridge assets anymore—they can use DOGE directly on Solana and participate in DeFi platforms like Raydium, Jupiter, and Kamino to perform actions such as trading and providing liquidity.
In the initial launch phase, the hype was indeed intense. The trading volume surpassed $10 million in just 3 hours, and the 24-hour cumulative turnover reached $19 million, with liquidity improving noticeably.
⚠️ Good news ≠ price increase—what does the real market look like?
But interestingly, when the ecosystem tailwinds actually landed, the coin price didn’t rise in response. After the news came out, DOGE dipped slightly, quoted at $0.08915. Market sentiment cooled down a bit—selling pressure increased, and trading activity also declined.

But looking at a longer time horizon, over the past month DOGE has still recorded a gain of 27.2%. You should know that Solana also saw a strong rally in August, rising by 41% on its own. It’s just that recently, Robinhood Chain’s DEX trading volume has surpassed SOL, bringing plenty of uncertainty to the ecosystem.
📊 What should be重点 watch going forward?
In theory, this integration can activate the liquidity of #DOGE within the flow of #solana , boosting trading heat for Meme coins. However, the key isn’t the huge volume on the first day of listing—it’s whether liquidity and trading activity can be sustained.
Also from the price action perspective, DOGE has recently been repeatedly oscillating in the $0.08–0.09 range, and large-scale liquidations have occurred multiple times. Since September began, the share of long positions being closed has been relatively high—so the risk of crowded long exposure is worth paying attention to.

In short, DOGE connecting with Solana is a real ecosystem advancement, improving the asset’s usage scenarios and liquidity. But ecosystem tailwinds don’t automatically mean the coin price must rise—it still depends on the real response from capital afterwards.
