9.7 Gold Midday Strategy

Market Analysis
After bottoming around 4385 during the daytime session, gold saw a rebound and correction. It is currently oscillating under pressure, below the middle band of the Bollinger Bands. On the 5-minute timeframe, the MACD is forming a low-level golden cross; the red histogram bars are rising slightly, indicating some short-term corrective momentum. However, the upper band of the Bollinger Bands continues to slope downward, and the overall downward structure has not been broken. Any rebound is more like a weak corrective pullback, so it is not advisable to go long blindly.

Fundamentals
Recently released U.S. economic data showed strong resilience. Market expectations for the Federal Reserve to cut rates too early have cooled further, and the U.S. dollar remains relatively strong, continuing to weigh on gold prices. Geopolitically, there have been no major escalation updates. Safe-haven buying is relatively weak, and price action is more likely to follow technical rhythms.
