Behind the 79% surge, shorts actually added positions.

Today, MARSCOIN’s trading volume surged to $459 million. The price moved from 0.059 up to 0.123, then pulled back to 0.11. The hourly chart has already closed three consecutive bullish candles. What’s interesting, though, is that the long/short ratio shows 56% are shorting, while only 44% are going long.

I’ve seen this kind of market many times—prices jump sharply, yet most people are still thinking, “It should be a pullback,” trying to top-tick it. The funding rate is only 0.008%, indicating leverage isn’t overly extreme. The upside hasn’t been squeezed out yet.

The key is whether the previous high at 0.123 can be broken. If it holds above that level, short-squeezing could push prices even higher. If it breaks below 0.10, be careful—profit-taking could rush out.
