September 1|Robinhood Chain surges in popularity
According to DeFiLlama data, driven by the recent trading frenzy in meme coins, Robinhood Chain’s daily trading volume has set new all-time highs for five consecutive days. On September 1, it reached $1.43 billion, again surpassing the previous day’s $1.4 billion; its transaction volume ranks just behind Solana.
Even more striking is its on-chain fee performance: in the past 24 hours, fees totaled $2.13 million—already exceeding the combined total fees of Ethereum, Solana, BNB Chain, and Base.
Chain revenues are similarly dominant. In the past 24 hours, retained revenue amounted to $1.92 million, compared with Ethereum’s $111,000, Solana’s $90,700, BSC’s $49,500, and Base’s $98,400—about 5.5 times the combined total of the other four chains.
Behind these high revenues, the main driver is high-frequency trading in meme coins, but the TVL remains relatively low, and the market carries extremely high volatility and risk.
