Memecoins Aren't Investments. They're Bets on Attention.
Let's be honest, bruv nobody's buying $DOGE or the latest dog-themed token because of "fundamentals." There are none. You're betting on attention, timing, and whether enough people believe the hype before you do.
That's not necessarily bad. Some people make real money. But it's a different game from actual investing, and treating it like one will wreck your portfolio.
My rule: memecoins get play money only capital I can lose completely without it touching my real strategy. If it moons, great. If it dies, I already priced that in.
The danger isn't memecoins existing. It's people mistaking a casino chip for a savings plan.
