14.2 billion CHIP were transferred out from Binance hot wallets within three hours. There was no flow to other exchanges; instead, all of it went into staking contracts.
On-chain monitoring account VxDrophunter disclosed on X that the same address has been using a routing mode to collect funds for the past two months, and the latest transaction also moved 6.4 billion more CHIP in. This address is suspected to be HexTrust’s custodial wallet, but this has not been confirmed.
Meanwhile, CHIP is up 13.76% today and the market has classified it under the AI sector. On Binance Square, some people have started issuing trade orders, while others simply posted, “It’s over, it’s over.”
On one side, billions of tokens are continuously being withdrawn and locked; on the other, narrative-driven momentum is pushing the price higher. Has the market suddenly started talking about CHIP because of the on-chain anomalies it spotted, or is it simply because of the AI label?
If these staked tokens are ultimately unlocked and moved back to exchanges, then the current accumulation interpretation would be overturned. The question that matters most now is: when the staking address begins to unlock, where will these tokens go?
