Odaily Planet Daily reported that media company Trump Media has dropped its plan to build a prediction market within the social platform Truth Social, and instead will promote Crypto.com's existing prediction market products to users via a marketing agreement.

Trump Media's interim CEO Kevin McGurn said that the predicted market industry has become a competitive space where companies with established firms prevail, and the company will focus its resources on its media business and the proposed merger with fusion energy company TAE Technologies.

Truth Predict was announced in October 2025. The original plan was to let users trade contracts related to elections, inflation, interest rates, commodities, and sports through Derivatives North America, a platform under Crypto.com. Trump Media also said it may, in the future, explore similar arrangements with other prediction market providers. (Bitcoin.com News)
