8.27 Gold Customer Midnight Review: Raging Drop of 78 Points, Refreshing the New Lows of the Phase! Will a Sharp Oversold Bounce Not Change the Bearish Trend?

Within the day, gold has staged an extreme roller-coaster move. In the early session, prices surged to the 4643 intraday high, then quickly came under pressure. The bearish forces kept expanding, driving prices through multiple support levels. Gold finally slid to a low of 4565, setting the phase’s new low since this round of correction began.

The U.S. Dollar Index is rising strongly. After consecutive sharp declines, the short-term negative catalysts have been partially released, and the oversold condition has triggered a technical rebound. However, the underlying logic behind shifting rate-cut expectations has not fundamentally changed. The market is still waiting for subsequent economic data to confirm the policy timetable.

On the 15-minute short cycle, a bottom-rebound pattern has been confirmed. Short-term moving averages remain in a bearish alignment, continuing to exert pressure on price. That said, the MACD green histogram continues to shrink, and the KDJ has formed a bullish crossover from the lower levels—short-term rebound repair momentum is being released.

Place sell orders in the rebound 4620–4640 zone, targeting 4600 and 4560.
