🇭🇰Hong Kong’s Convention and Exhibition Centre is truly packed today!🇭🇰
Bitcoin Asia 2026 kicked off today, and from the moment you entered, the place was overflowing—more than 150 keynote speakers, 125 countries, and over 10,000 people flooding in. This is only the second edition, and the number of registrations is nearly three times that of last year. No one can deny this wave of Bitcoin fever across Asia.
The big names are so many you can’t even count them. What I most want to see is definitely today’s 3:00 PM CZ (Changpeng Zhao) keynote on the main stage. I heard that after his talk there will also be an on-site book signing—his new book, *Money Freedom*! Sun Yuchen, Balaji Srinivasan, and the CEO of Bitget, Gracy Chen, are also here. There are Hong Kong Legislative Council members and policymakers too—everything is covered across both politics and business.
Just listening to the talks isn’t enough. The conference also put on a closed-door “Deal Day,” invitation-only, where Bitcoin companies, banks, and funds are brought together for matchmaking and collaboration discussions. The expo area outside is also pretty fun—card shows, open-source zones, a Bitcoin art exhibition… I walked around until my legs went numb.
Honestly, what’s most interesting about a conference like this is actually what happens offstage. You might be lining up to buy a cup of coffee, and next to you is the head of some fund. Hong Kong has really turned into Asia’s super-connector for Bitcoin and Web3 right now. With so much smart money and so many brains in one place, the next wave of hype is very likely to come from what gets talked about over these next couple of days.
I’m just watching every word the big players say, and keeping an eye on how market sentiment is moving 🔥 $BTR
