$DOS This move has a little something.

On the 15-minute timeframe, volume has directly been pulled up to 1.96 times the normal level, and the OI has also been accumulating across several consecutive cycles. For the 1-hour contracts, open interest increased by 11.37%—the participation from leveraged longs is very clear.

But don’t get too excited: the net aggressive (taker) volume is still negative, which suggests that the chasing money isn’t that decisive. It’s closer to “someone is quietly setting up long orders” rather than a market with emotions running one-sided FOMO.

Now the price is already approaching its own historical extreme range. The OI percentile is at 98.6%—ranked first in the entire pool. At positions like this, volatility often intensifies, and the choice of direction may be right in front of us.

I think this combination of data looks like funds are probing to build positions. But if the volume can’t keep up afterward, it could easily turn into a “needle” (spike) type of market. Don’t get carried away in the short term—watch whether the aggressive buy-side can flip positive.
