In just 3 minutes, get to the real logic of making money from trading: it’s not about guessing price moves—it’s about managing probability.

When I first entered the crypto market, I also thought that experts make money by predicting the market. After a few rounds of liquidation, I finally understood: people who truly profit long-term don’t have the sharpest forecasts—they always leave themselves an exit.
I later only did three things.

First, protect your profits.
Before opening a position, set your take-profit and stop-loss. Once your profit reaches the target, don’t get greedy and fantasize about doubling again—take some off the table first. Many people lose money not because they never profit, but because they don’t guard the profits they’ve made. Only profits that are realized truly belong to you.

Second, analyze the market by cycles.
Don’t randomly guess based on just one level. Look at the daily chart for the big direction, use the 4-hour chart to find opportunities, and the 15-minute chart to pinpoint entry points.
The larger timeframe determines direction, and the smaller timeframe helps you find the location. If the direction is wrong, start with a small position to test; once the direction is clear, gradually increase your position size.

Third, treat stop-loss as the cost of doing business.
Many people fear stop-loss and keep thinking they can hold on and wait it out. But in the market, the most expensive thing isn’t a small loss—it’s a large loss that can’t be recovered.

Now, before every trade, I think in advance:
If I’m wrong, how much loss can I accept. If I’m right, how much profit should make me exit.
Keep funds separate—never go all-in, and never do “revenge trading.” If I suffer consecutive losses, I stop trading and let myself cool down. Trading isn’t about who can make money the fastest—it’s about who can last the longest.

There are always opportunities in the market, but there’s only one account. Stay in the game first, and profits will naturally come closer to you over time.
