This move isn’t simple.

$PORTAL directly surged 65%, and the trading volume—28.8M—left several others far behind by multiple orders of magnitude. I took a look at the news flow, and there doesn’t seem to be any particularly major positive catalyst. This combination of a no-volume explosive rally plus massive turnover strongly suggests a good chance the operator staged it themselves. If you chase into the 0.01861 area, it’s hard to set a proper stop-loss, and you’re likely to get swept back and forth. I personally wouldn’t touch it, but if you already hold it, scale out your profits in batches—don’t get greedy.

On the other side, $PHB -69% cut down to 0.015, and PYR -57% cut down to 0.021. These drawdowns look scary. But if you look closely, the trading volume is actually small: 1.5M and 0.8M. With BTC holding around 63,500 and fees still around 0.0091, this kind of collective flash crash in small caps looks more like a liquidity gap plus stop-loss chain reaction, not a systemic market risk.

BTC high 63,580, low 62,716—amplitude isn’t big—so it indicates the mainstream is holding steady. These small coins’ brutal selloffs are more due to issues within the projects themselves, not dragged down by the broader market.

Can you bottom-fish? At this scale of downside, it looks tempting, but small-cap liquidity is poor and depth is thin—you might not even find a counterparty after buying. Opportunity? There is. Trap? Most likely.

Do you think $PORTAL can still be chased from here?
