I’ve been thinking more about @BabylonLabs_io after keeping a small position open, and honestly, the interesting part isn’t just Bitcoin staking.
It’s the habit change.
Bitcoin holders have spent years learning to hold BTC and avoid unnecessary complexity. Now Babylon asks them to do something different: use #BTC to help secure PoS networks while keeping control of the underlying asset.
That sounds simple until you think about the user experience. People have to understand staking mechanics, risks, and exits. The real challenge may not be the technology. It may be convincing holders that the added complexity is worth it.
What I find interesting is that $BABY doesn’t remove trust; it moves it. Away from custodians and bridges, and toward protocol design, incentives, and governance.
That trade-off is still an open question for me.
Because if users don’t actually want to change how they interact with $BTC , even strong engineering may struggle to create lasting adoption.
