I took a quick look at the market sentiment: the value is about 25 (Extreme Fear), and overall it’s a bit tense.
But sentiment is the best at lying—look at BTC’s current price of $64,269 and a 24h change of -1.6%; the trend doesn’t play along with the mood at all.
So I treat it only as a thermometer, never a navigation tool.
What the index measures is crowd sentiment, not the bottom of the price. I usually take it just as a reference.
When you get to this point, are you holding on or running? I guess we’re probably not the same.
