Base launched the Solana cross-chain bridge, achieving two-way asset interoperability

According to news from Hashkey, Base, the Ethereum L2 network incubated by Coinbase, has launched a cross-chain bridge connecting to Solana. This bridging feature allows Solana assets to be natively used on Base, while Base assets can also be migrated to Solana. The support for the cross-chain bridge is provided by Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP), ensuring security through a dual verification mechanism involving Coinbase and Chainlink nodes.
