What's the dumbest move you made when you first got into the game? Seriously, I'll go first.

In September '23, I went all in on ETH at 1580. Logically, it made sense; active addresses on-chain were rising, and L2's TVL was also coming back, data doesn't lie, but words do. But after three months of sideways action, I couldn't take it anymore and cut my position at 1540. Later, it shot up to 2400—let's just say that price difference could have been worth a year's salary. Now ETH is at 2058, even if I had held from 1580 until today, I'd be up 478 bucks per coin, and I had about 5 coins at that time, so I missed out on around 2390 bucks.

The craziest part is my logic for selling was "sideways for too long means no action"—honestly, that judgment isn't totally wrong, but I forgot one thing: sideways is also a form of accumulation. I only looked at three months of candlestick charts and jumped to a conclusion.

Now, fear and greed are still at 25, BTC dropped to 75088, and the bulls just got wrecked for 106 million. You know there's gonna be someone shouting to buy the dip in the square. I just want to ask: the money you lost in your first year in the market, did you lose it because you "messed up" or because you were "right but didn't hold on"? #热门话题
