Setting a stop-loss for your trades is your psychological tolerance range.

Before hitting the stop-loss, do not press the close button.

It may happen that closing early once will help you lose less, but the stop-loss you set is something you have already thought through and decided on, and it represents the loss you can accept.

If you successfully close early once, most of the time you will be forced to close early due to volatility.

Sometimes you feel like going long, and at other times you feel like going short, and the wear and tear from this can outweigh several of your stop-losses.
