According to Blockworks, the second part of the animated film "The Rise of Blus" produced by crypto-native animation studio Atrium was released on Wednesday. The film's $3 million budget depends on the passage of a series of governance proposals. Contrary to the black box status quo of the film industry, Atrium founder Supriyo Roy regularly releases on-chain updates on the progress of the film and the use of funds. The film script was also made public before its release. Roy said that several producers of the film had participated in the production of "Spider-Man: Parallel Universe", making the animation style of "The Rise of Blus" similar to that of Marvel blockbusters. According to Roy, the production team of "The Rise of Blus" has 45 people and the final budget is expected to be $2.78 million. For reference, the recent "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" animated film cost $70 million to produce. Five of the eight chapters of the film have been funded, and the next three chapters (about 10 to 11 minutes each) will be released in the next eight months or so. Roy said that if completed, the entire film will be about 80 minutes long.
