According to Foresight News, Sota Watanabe, founder of Polkadot's smart contract platform Astar Network, tweeted that the Astar zkEVM testnet will be launched in October and enter the next phase. Foresight News previously reported on September 13 that Polkadot's smart contract platform Astar Network and Polygon Labs have partnered to launch the Ethereum Layer 2 network Astar zkEVM. The Astar zkEVM testnet is scheduled to be launched in the fourth quarter of this year, and sETH will be used as the Gas token on the testnet.
