In the 2017 cryptocurrency whale card, Prince Gong was given the position of Queen of Clubs, alongside He Yi and Lao Mao, and was considered a top-tier boss.

He watches 1.4 movies a day, which is almost comparable to Li Xiaolai in the cryptocurrency circle, showing his deep love and persistence for film art.

Not only that, he is also a versatile artist. He is so passionate about painting that his anime Weibo avatar is drawn by his own hands. This move reflects his creativity and artistic talent.

He has demonstrated his versatility not only in his personal interests but also in his career, where he designed his own company logo, further highlighting his creativity and design abilities.

In his private space, he has collected a large number of figures of anime characters such as Thanos and Iron Man. This enthusiasm shows his persistent love for anime culture.

However, his life has also experienced great twists and turns. He has experienced three glorious moments, including one in 2013 when his assets increased by nearly 800 times, but he has also experienced three dark moments in his life, one of which was when he was even sentenced to three and a half years in prison. However, his firm belief that "I can't kill you" makes a person more determined.

He also expressed his understanding of Li Xiaolai, who he once thought was an idealist, but eventually realized that he had been deceived for a long time, which shows his deep thinking about human nature and faith.

An early Bitcoin evangelist and die-hard fan, he was optimistic about cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, BitShares, Ethereum and EOS, but he also questioned one of the important figures, BM, believing that he had low emotional intelligence and might be a potential weapon of mass destruction.

He is a different kind of boss in the cryptocurrency circle, our “Coin Circle Poker” Queen of Clubs————the Runaway Prince Gong Gong Ming.

1: Teenagers achieve excellence and serve as CEOs

Gong Ming, a CEO with a name that sounds impressive, is called Prince Gong. Although he looks impressive now, he was the second prize winner in a composition competition when he was a teenager! At that time, he showed his love for literature. What a pity.

However, after entering university, Gong Ming actually chose mathematics as his major! This completely overturned the development of his literary talent. However, he already had a 386 computer at that time and was very proficient in computer research. Therefore, he was not only talented in mathematics, but also proficient in the field of computers.

When he was a junior, his teacher saw his talent and recommended him to develop a human resources website, which became the famous Jiepin.com. This website was a huge success, allowing Gong Ming to have a very high monthly income during his teenage years, which was 100 times more impressive than his peers!

However, fate always plays tricks on people. In 2001, the Internet bubble burst and the business of Jiepin.com plummeted. Gong Ming had no choice but to join the Delong Group, the largest private enterprise in China at that time, to accumulate experience for future entrepreneurship.

But soon after, he left Delong with a restless heart and started his own business, developing a photo-taking tool he called the "Dream Photo Machine." Although he earned a good income, Gong Ming felt that the project lacked long-term prospects.

In 2006, he had the third entrepreneurial opportunity, which was the most glorious and tragic in his life, and founded the audio material website - iListen.cn.

With only five employees, Gong Ming successfully developed Dongting China into a leader among similar websites. As of 2008, the website had nearly 5 million registered members, including 1.3 million paying members, and was ranked in the top 10,000 by Alexa.

Various investments came pouring in, and the peak of his life seemed to be just around the corner. However, Gong Ming suffered a serious blow.

2: Framed and sentenced for producing obscene audio

On February 10, 2009, Gong Ming was at the peak of his career. The investment plan of tens of millions of yuan agreed with Xinhua Media was about to be finalized, and he was full of beautiful expectations for the future. Sitting in the company office, he was fantasizing about his bright future. But at this moment, a group of "busy" police rushed into the office, handcuffed all the five employees and took them to the police station. Gong Ming cried out in his heart: "I've been framed!"

During the interrogation at the police station, Gong Ming was told that his website had been reported for allegedly producing obscene content. In particular, the "Urban Passion" section on the website contained four popular online novel audios that were very enjoyable to listen to. These novels included "****" and "Golden Scales Are Not Things in the Pond". Although the climax of the novels involved some "bed sports", they were evaluated as "the plot was fascinating but not pornographic", but they still attracted trouble.

Poor Gong Ming, he thought he could show his talent, but ended up being wrongly accused and bearing a false reputation. Alas, life is like a farce, you thought you were flying in a dream, but you didn't expect to be woken up, and when you woke up, you found that you were hacked.

Later, in 2014, Gong Ming published a long article entitled "The Origin and Destination of Beautiful China" in an attempt to explain the matter, claiming that he was actually framed by someone.

He claimed that an investor named Shanghai initially claimed to invest, but actually tried to acquire the company. As the negotiations broke down, the other party threatened: "If you don't agree to the acquisition, I will destroy you."

In addition, Gong Ming later discovered that the whistleblower of this case was fanning the flames and characterizing it as the country's first case involving audio books involving pornography. The police were even prepared to strive for a second-class merit for this case and notified major media including CCTV to publicize the case.

What’s even more interesting is that Gong Ming claimed in court that the first female voice actor he created didn’t even know him.

Regardless of whether he was framed or accidentally violated the legal boundaries, Gong Ming was sentenced to three years and six months in prison.

It only took a few months for him to go from a CEO with a promising future to a prisoner who spread obscene audios, and from heaven to hell.

3: A big reversal of fortune: in 2013, assets soared 800 times

More than a year later, Gong Ming was finally released from prison early. It was already 2010, and Bitcoin had just come to the fore. Gong Ming became very interested in this new thing. He began to study and spread Bitcoin, translated a lot of related articles, and established his own column. He couldn't help but sighed: "The mathematics in Bitcoin is really of great significance!"

However, although Gong Ming found a job, his monthly salary was only 1,200 yuan, less than one-sixth of what he earned during college. Despite his limited financial resources, his enthusiasm for Bitcoin has not diminished at all.

Finally one day, he used Bitcoin to transfer money to his friend in the United States for the first time, and experienced firsthand that this was part of the future. He said happily: "It makes remittances much more convenient!" So he started buying Bitcoin. In an interview, he mentioned that the price he bought Bitcoin at was only a few dozen yuan.

Well, it seems that luck is also important sometimes. After all, Gong Ming bought Bitcoin before it became popular. Maybe this is a gift from fate to him.

He was once active in the cryptocurrency community in Shanghai and Hangzhou. At that time, the community was still small and almost everyone could sit around two tables. The community was divided into four factions: Beijing faction, Shanghai faction, Hangzhou faction and Shenzhen faction. According to Gong Ming, people in Beijing like to make a fortune quietly, while people in Shanghai and Hangzhou prefer to discuss some issues in depth.

Around 2013, Gong Ming published some works, such as "Digital Currency" and "Blockchain-New Economic Blueprint". It is said that many people have made a fortune by reading his books.

In 2013, the Bitcoin market was a big drama, with more volatility than a roller coaster. At first, Bitcoin was worth only $13.30, and then within a few months, it suddenly soared to $266! Like a rocket launch, it instantly gave people a feeling of "Oh my God, is this going to the moon?" But overnight, Bitcoin suddenly collapsed, and the price fell to $50, like a fallen bird, which made countless investors feel distressed.

However, in this pessimistic market atmosphere, there is a person who dares to be different, he is our Gong Ming. He is determined not to aim for short-term profits anymore, he said: "No matter how smart you are, you can't beat the market. Short-term trading will only make your bitcoins less and less." Hey, this kind of persistence is really admirable!

This attitude made Gong Ming stick to his faith in 2013, a year when the price of Bitcoin fluctuated wildly. Finally, on December 4, 2013, the price of Bitcoin soared to its highest point in history, $1,147 (about RMB 8,000). Gong Ming's assets increased by nearly 800 times! Oh, he finally got rid of the trough of many years and turned his wealth around!

This reversal of fortune allowed him to live a life at the peak of his powers, without having to worry about money.

4: The market is down, investors withdraw their capital, and life becomes bleak

As the price of Bitcoin soared, five Chinese departments jointly issued a notice that said: Beware of Bitcoin risks! As a result, the price of Bitcoin suddenly plunged 35%. Then, the United States and other countries also restricted Bitcoin transactions, causing the price of Bitcoin to fall 80% in 2014.

As a result, rumors spread widely: "Bitcoin speculation is a big scam!" Such sentiment spread to the digital currency depository company that Gong Ming was running at the time. In 2015, after more than a year of bear market torture, sentiment reached its peak, and Gong Ming's venture capitalists told him: "Hey, brother, we will never invest in you again." These investors believed: "Digital currency is a scam, don't expect it to recover, and don't think it will have any investment value in the next ten years."

Investors subsequently withdrew their capital, causing Gong Ming's company to go bankrupt.

Ironically, however, just three months later, the cryptocurrency market, which investors had considered unworthy by most Chinese venture capital investors, began to pick up. Opportunities abounded.

Unfortunately, the venture capitalists who withdrew their capital did not wait for three months.

Later, Gong Ming lamented: "Every time a sharp drop was considered a disaster at the time, it would be covered up by the subsequent market conditions and become a small fluctuation that was almost negligible."

5: Suffering all kinds of criticism and experiencing the lowest point in life

In an interview with Babbitt Jia Xiaobie, the host asked Gong Ming if he had ever experienced the lowest point.

He replied yes.

Because of this experience, he said he particularly understood Teacher Li Xiaolai.

Because of his experience with BitShares, he believes that BM (founder of BitShares) has an extremely low emotional intelligence, which can even be said to be negative.

He has shown his talent for humor time and again. In another interview, he said with a smile: "Everyone thought BM was an actor I invited, and that I was using BTS (BitShares) to make money. However, the truth is that BM's whereabouts are erratic, and his logic is confusing. I admit that BM is a genius in technology, but his emotional intelligence is simply a weapon of mass destruction."

6: Founding fund raising $170 million

In 2017, the cryptocurrency market entered a bull market again, and Gong Ming already had a considerable reputation in the industry. So he created ICOAGE, and successfully launched more than 30 projects by raising $170 million, attracting more than 60,000 people to participate. A year later, he made another big move, creating the EOS.CYBEX community, and then established the CYBEX exchange. He proudly revealed in an interview that the company now has more than 70 employees.

Today, this guy has become a local tycoon in the cryptocurrency field and no longer has to worry about being chopped off by the market. The reputation he enjoys can say goodbye to market fluctuations. Today, he spends his days buying anime figures, watching movies, doing design, and occasionally jumping around on Weibo. After all the criticism and ups and downs, our Prince Gong believes in a saying: "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger."
