A subsidiary of the Sygnum banking group will be able to offer digital asset services, including brokerage, custody and B2B services, under the Liechtenstein Token and Trusted Technology Service Providers Act.

The license pave the way for Sygnum to apply for a global crypto asset service provider (CASP) license under the European Union MiCA once Liechtenstein adopts the regulation in Q1 2025.

Earlier, Sygnum Bank announced the start of a joint project with AMINA Bank AG to launch networks for processing payments and settlements in digital assets in real time.
