Ordswap, the Bitcoin Ordinals marketplace, is scrambling to regain control of its website domain and has devised a method for users to retrieve their private keys. In a recent Twitter post, Ordswap shared an online tool to help MetaMask users recover their private keys, allowing them to move to other providers. This comes after a stark warning from Ordswap not to connect to its domain as it was not in control of it, blaming website development and hosting firm Netlify. Users reported a button on the website prompting them to connect their crypto wallet, which was suspected to be a wallet drainer used by scammers.
